Description

Field Trip Camps for 4th-6th graders!

**Campers will gather at LHP and bus over to Grace with other camps for Field Trip Camps. Campers will be dropped back off at LHP after the camp is over!

 

Wednesday, July 25th - Rafting on the Potomac Gorge - Today will be filled with rafting and adventuring down the Potomac Gorge!

Thursday, July 26th - Medieval Times and Dave & Busters - Let’s go back to the Medieval times to sit back and watch a jousting match! Afterwards we will head over to Dave & Busters to play some fun arcade games!

Friday, July 27th - Terrapin Adventures - Let’s do the Terrapin Challenge? Five major elements of fun - the zipline, high ropes course, climbing tower, terrapin flyer and giant swing!

Monday, July 30th - National Zoo - Lions! Tigers! Bears! Oh my! Let’s ttake a tour and then participate in a scavenger hunt around the zoo!

Tuesday, July 31st - Charlie Brown, Newseum & 4D Movie! - “Peanuts” gang comic brought to life in Summer 2018! Sit back and enjoy Charlie Brown play! We will also fill the day at Imagination Stage and head to the Newseum to learn about film!

Wednesday, August 1st - Mini Golf & Water Park - Let’s have fun playing a round of mini golf with friends and then head over to the water park to cool off and have some fun!

Thursday, August 2nd - Hiking & Ice Skating - Explore the wetlands, forest, and wildlife that’s right in our own backyard. After lunch, we will head over to the Mount Vernon Rec Center to cool down with some Ice Skating.

Friday, August 3rd - Kings Dominion - Fun filled day with epic rollercoasters and than take a splash in the water park!

Monday, August 6th - Roosevelt Island - Explore Roosevelt Island! Then, let’s race against the clock to escape out of the room!

Tuesday, August 7th - Spy Museum - Go back in time and learn about spies!

Wednesday, August 8th - Geocaching - Embark on a scavenger hunt around DC!

Thursday, August 9th - Nats Game - Atlanta Braves at Nats. Game starts at 1:05pm.

Friday, August 10th - Mt. Vernon - Travel back to colonial times and explore the world of our founding father. Walk around in the shoes of our first president. We may also have time for some sports fun!

Monday, August 13th - Laser Tag & Bowling Tournament - Join us for a day of fun! In the morning, we will play laser tag in teams to battle for points. In the Afternoon, get ready for a bowling tournament against friends!

Tuesday, August 14th - National Harbor & Tidal Basin - Take a ride on the ferris wheel to see the sights of DC. Then, we will head down to do paddle boats on the Tidal Basin!

Wednesday, August 15th - Movies & Science Place - Let’s come in from the summer heat to go to the movies! We will then have some fun participating in hands on science experiments.

Thursday, August 16th - Potomac Nationals baseball game - Watch the minor league Potomac Nationals take on Myrtle Beach at 12:05 pm!

Friday, August 17th - Indoor Water Park - Splash around and ride water slides in a indoor water park!
